With today’s appearance against Osasuna, Sergio Ramos has officially surpassed Real Madrid club legend (and predecessor) Fernando Hierro for fifth in all time appearances in La Liga for Real.
Today’s match, where Ramos scored the winning goal, marked the captain’s 440th appearance in La Liga. There now remain just four players ahead of him: Santillana (461 appearances), Casillas (510 appearances), Sanchis (523 appearances), and Raul (550 appearances).
