Real Madrid have set Stade Rennais midfielder Eduardo Camavinga as one of their targets for next summer’s transfer window, according to a report from MARCA’s Carlos Carpio.

Camavinga, a technically gifted defensive midfielder, is still 17 years old and could be one of the most talented prospects for that position in the world of football, given that he’s already playing at an elite level at such a young age.

While it won’t be easy to sign the young midfielder away from Stade Rennais and some other big clubs might try to complete a deal for Camavinga as well, he’s worth the effort considering that Real Madrid don’t have a pure replacement for Casemiro in the current squad.

Camavinga fits Madrid’s transfer policy and the club believe that a €60 million offer could get a deal done, per Carpio’s report. All in all, Camavinga seems destined to be one of Europe’s great midfielders, so Madrid would be wise to complete his signing.
