Immediate Reaction (Primera Iberdrola): CD Tacón 0 – 0 Valencia CF

Tacón finished off the week with a goalless draw at home.

Chioma during the first-half of the game.

It was an even match today at Ciudad Real Madrid’s Campo 11. Both teams started off with a lot of intensity and energy. Tacón managed to create more danger during the first half, but Valencia had the best chance of the game; a 1v1 chance against Yohana in the 36th minute with the shot hitting the right post.

Aiona Campo was suspended and her first pass quality was sorely missed, as expected. Yohana had good interventions, managing to save the couple of shots on target Valencia had.

Viola Calligari, one of Valencia’s best defenders, had an outstanding game and managed to clear off many of the chances that Sofia Jakobsson and Kosovare Asllani created. Chioma Ubogagu was back in the starting line-up and had some good moments, but she didn’t manage to be as crucial as she has been earlier this season.

Tacón will play away against Levante next weekend. The exact date and time is yet to be announced.
