Real Madrid have published a medical report on Eden Hazard, who picked up a foot injury last night which forced him to leave the game.
Following the tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by the Real Madrid medical department, he has been diagnosed with a fracture to his right distal fibula. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Hazard's injury will potentially keep him out for the rest of the season, which is obviously devastating news for Real Madrid. He had just recovered from a previous foot fracture which forced him to miss the last three months of the season.
Real Madrid spent more than €100 million to sign Hazard away from Chelsea when his contract was set to expire this upcoming summer. It's clear that Los Blancos expected much more from Hazard this year, although it's also true that he was very unlucky with his injuries, considering that he has never been injury-prone.
