Real Madrid host Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals, a single-elimination game to decide who makes it to the Semifinals, which will be a regular two-game tie. Odegaard and his teammates have been outstanding this season and they are a very exciting team to watch, with the young Norwegian talent being their undisputed leader upfront.
Zidane will be without Casemiro and Carvajal for this game and Eden Hazard hasn’t recovered from the foot injury he picked up last November just yet. The Belgian star has been training with the squad for a week but the coaching staff want to be cautious with his return to the field.
Vinicius, Rodrygo and Benzema seem set to feature in Zidane’s starting lineup, with Valverde, Kroos and Modric in the midfield trying to contain Real Sociedad’s energetic play. All in all, Real Madrid clearly have what it takes to advance, but they will still need to take this game very seriously if they want to play in the Semifinals.
