Some good news in what was an otherwise routine training session at Valdebedas today: Isco has rejoined the group after missing the last match due to back problems. The other players who are still recovering from their injuries — Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, Marcelo, and Thibaut Courtois — continued their own healing sessions behind the scenes. Both Marcelo and Courtois will miss the games against Eibar and Manchester City.
Today’s training began with routine warm-ups, followed by possession and pressing drills. Zinedine Zidane concluded the session by having the team play scrimmages on on a small pitch.
