Real Madrid have made a “significant donation” to the Comunidad de Madrid in order to buy extra medical supplies to stop the coronavirus outbreak in the region, president Isabel Diaz Ayuso announced on Twitter today.
Gracias al @realmadrid por su importantísima aportación para hacer frente al coronavirus y ayudarnos a salvar vidas.

He cerrado con su presidente Florentino Pérez una gran donación en materia sanitaria.
“Thanks to Real Madrid for their great donation to help stop coronavirus and help us save lives. Their president Florentino Perez and I have finished a significant donation of medical supplies,” tweeted Diaz Ayuso on his personal account.
The Comunidad de Madrid need as much help as they can get, as it has been Spain’s region with most cases of coronavirus.
The city of Madrid has been struggling for a while and it looks like this current week could be the worst, as Secretary of Health Salvador Illa said in press conference last week.
Real Madrid players and every member of the club is in quarantine for the time being. La Liga and the Champions League have postponed their games and it looks like there will be no football for Madrid in April.
