Borussia Dortmund attacker Erling Haaland talked to Four Four Two and was asked about the rumors suggesting that he is on Real Madrid and Manchester United’s radar for next summer.
“It’s always nice to see that big clubs are interested in you, it means you’re doing a good job,” said Haaland, who joined Dortmund this past winter and has a €75 million release clause on his contract.
A report from AS published before El Clasico indicated that Haaland could be a target for Real Madrid. Los Blancos signed Luka Jovic this past summer but the Serbian striker hasn’t been getting minutes this season and could even be behind Mariano Diaz in the rotation after El Clasico, where Mariano scored Madrid’s second goal.
Haaland’s release clause makes him a very interesting target for many clubs in Europe, even more so after his great performances for Dortmund, so it will be interesting to see if Madrid decide to sign another striker after spending €60 million on Jovic last summer.
