Real Madrid star Eden Hazard will travel to Dallas this Thursday to surgically repair the ankle injury he picked up during the 1-0 loss against Levante, according to a report from MARCA. Doctor Eugene Curry will be in charge of the surgery, per that same report.
Hazard will apparently need two months to recover from his injury and it could be even longer considering that he might need some time to rehab and get ready to play. Reports indicate that he will be back in time for the 2020 UEFA Euro and that’s precisely what Belgium coach Roberto Martinez said in a recent interview with Cadena COPE.
If everything goes according to plan, Hazard should be ready to play in Real Madrid’s last games of the season, although coach Zinedine Zidane will likely be patient with his recovery so that there’s no risk of yet another injury for the Belgian star.
