Eduardo Camavinga, the 17-year-old French central midfielder, has been identified by all of MARCA, AS, and ABC as a transfer target for Real Madrid. Managing Madrid confirmed reports earlier today citing that Zidane has made the player a priority. According to ABC, the Frenchman has reciprocated the good feeling, as he dreams of playing under Zinedine Zidane. He has already told his agent and family that he wants Real Madrid to be his next club.
The cover of MARCA for March 29th, had Camavinga’s picture plastered all over it. For March 30th, there is a blurb stating that Real Madrid is the “preferred” choice for Camavinga. The club’s project is one that has most convinced young Camavinga despite his many suitors. Juni Calafat, Real Madrid’s head scout, has been following the player since he was 14-years-old. He has been identified by the club as a player for both the present and the future.

Despite being just 17-years-old, the midfielder has been one of the best players in Ligue 1 and is among the top tacklers in all of the big 5 European leagues. Madrid believe the player has all the necessary skill-set and tactical awareness to become Casemiro’s future replacement.
