Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta talked to the press this week and revealed that the London-based club and Real Madrid have not had discussions to make Dani Ceballos an Arsenal player after his loan deal expires next summer.

“We’ve had no discussions about it, I’m really happy with Dani and what he’s bringing to the team right now, it took him a while since his injury to get to the level he has and I’ve seen in the past and he’s performing much better now and that’s why he’s playing many more games,” said Arteta.

If Arsenal aren’t interested in keeping Ceballos past next summer, it looks like the Spanish midfielder will once again have to find another club, considering that he has never been in Zidane’s plans. Ceballos is still a very promising midfielder who will turn 24 years old, so many clubs in European football will surely be willing to give him a chance.
