Real Madrid visit Real Betis this Sunday hoping to maintain the lead in La Liga table they earned after last weekend’s solid win in El Clasico. Los Blancos will be without Carvajal, Nacho and Isco, so Zidane will have to make some important decisions about his defensive and midfield lines.
Betis predicted XI: Robles; Emerson, Mandi, Bartra, Moreno; Gonzalez; Fekir, Canales, Guardado, Joaquín; Iglesias
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois; Militao, Varane, Ramos, Mendy; Valverde, Casemiro, Kroos; Bale, Vinicius, Benzema
All in all, it looks like Zidane could give Militao some minutes. Vazquez is also an option to play on the right-back spot, but this is a tough away game and Madrid should probably use a pure defender like Militao, who would surely be a more reliable defender than Vazquez.
Zidane has two different choices for his midfield. He could play a 4-3-3 formation with Vinicius and Bale upfront and keep Modric on the bench or he could start a 4-4-2 with Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde and Modric in the midfield and Benzema alongside Rodrygo, Bale or Vinicius leading the attacking line.
