Reinier Jesus (18) was the latest young prodigy to arrive at Real Madrid in the winter window. The teenager signed a seven year deal with the club, with the intention of using the initial 6 months to adapt to a new country and understand what it means to be a Real Madrid player.
According to a report from Marca, both the club and player had a pact agreed when the contract was signed. The pact came with the understanding that Reinier would go out on loan the next season after his intial six months. Ideally the Brazilian would be sent out on loan to a team in La Liga where he could earn ample minutes at the first division level.
After just three games with Castilla, Reinier has impressed. Managing Madrid’s “Castilla Corner” recently ranked Reinier as the highest potential player of anyone in Raul’s squad; despite the small sample size. He has also featured 15 times for Flamengo. Reinier has both the skill set and the CV to take the leap to the next level with a quality loan move expected this summer.
