Achraf Hakimi’s agent denies rumors that he has signed a new Real Madrid contract

The Moroccan’s agent refutes claims that a contract extension has been signed.

Despite many outlets, including Fabrizio Romano, stating that Achraf’s contract had been extended by Real Madrid, his agent has refuted those claims.

“There is no basis at all. His contract at Real Madrid is still the same one we negotiated in 2017. We have to wait. After this misery, we will sit together with Real Madrid and BVB” he told Goal/SPOX.

More than likely, the Moroccan will return to Real Madrid this summer, but will need assurances over playing time from Zinedine Zidane. After two years at Dortmund, Achraf has proven to be one of the best young right backs in the world and does not want to stunt his progression with PSG, Chelsea, and other big clubs interested in his services.
