Both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar look destined to stay another year at PSG. According to a report in French outlet L’Equipe, the coronavirus will prevent any move as the pair’s value has fallen due to the epidemic. PSG was expecting trasnfer fees in excess of 150 million euros for each — prices very few clubs could pay given the current state of the global economy.
Neymar has been heavily linked with a return back to Barcelona for over a year, while Kylian Mbappe has long been the desire of Real Madrid and its fan base.

The French 21-year-old, Mbappe, is under contract until 2022. The Emir of Qatar, has reportedly been quoted as saying the following:
“Come wind, snow or rain, Mbappé will stay, that is the Emir’s desire.”
Many large-scale transfers will likely be suspended this summer given the pandemic. If Mbappe continues to hold out on renewing his contract, the viability of his signing for Madrid goes up exponentially in 2021, with just one year remaining on his deal.
