Iker Casillas utilized some of his time at home to give an interview to Spanish YouTube sensation, DjMariio, which was published on his channel as well as Post United. The World Cup winner spoke about a variety of topics, including a potential return to Real Madrid one day.

“Return to Real Madrid in a different role? Of course, I would like to return. It is my home, even if I have been away for five years. I was there for twenty-five years, the link is palpable. I am convinced, that one day, I will again have a close connection with Real Madrid.”

Casillas was also asked about some of the criticism the current Real Madrid squad has received. “You come from winning four Champions League titles, it is then difficult to know how to improve,” he commented. “We have become very demanding with this Real Madrid”.

Iker did have words on one particular talent currently plying his trade at Real Madrid: “I like Vinicius. As soon as he is calmer and know how to improve that virtue of speed, dribbling, and a bit more precision in the final phase of play, he will be a great player”.

Lastly, DjMariio asked Iker about the potential signing of Mbappe and the former Madrid man did not hide that he is a player that he likes most in regards to today’s football stars. “He is an exceptional player. Everyone see the quality that he possesses. He would fit at Real Madrid by name alone. You link Mbappe with Real Madrid and you are happy to think about, but it is still too early to think about signings,” he concluded.
