Real Madrid legend Raúl González has talked to the club's official TV station and shared his thoughts about the current coronavirus pandemic.
"Dear Real Madrid members, I first would like to wish you all and your families well. In life there are times when we have to face tough moments and we do it with optimism and strength, just like we do in football. I would like to send you all my support in these tough times, we all want it to end very soon. We'll get through it together as we have always done throughout history. I send you a big hug. Hala Madrid!"
Raúl is enjoying his first season coaching Real Madrid Castilla with mixed results. That doesn't mean he isn't a candidate to coach Madrid's first team in the future.
In fact, he's likely the main candidate to eventually replace Zidane when the Frenchman decides to leave.
