Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos talked to Deportes Cuatro and shared some thoughts about his future. It hasn’t been an easy season for him in Arsenal and while most fans and analysts expect him to leave Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window, Ceballos still believes that he can reach his potential in the Spanish capital.
“I’m happy and I’m under contract with Real Madrid. I’m 23 years old, it’s not too late for me. I feel like a real player now and I’m ready for the challenged ahead of me,” said Ceballos.
The midfielder has never been on Zidane’s plans and it’s unlikely that this changes next season, so Real Madrid will likely try to find Ceballos a new club.
He was also asked about the rumors suggesting that Bale could join Newcastle next season.
“The Premier League suits his game but he’s a crucial player for Real Madrid. We shouldn’t forget what he’s given to the club. Whoever doesn’t trust him should watch the Champions League Finals, he’s given the club a lot,” concluded Ceballos.
