It’s not common to see the players jogging without the ball but it’s clear that coach Zinedine Zidane wants his men to be in proper form when La Liga makes its return in around a month.
Spanish radio station Onda Cero reported this Saturday that Zidane is satisfied with what he’s seen from his players in training this week. Apparently, the whole roster is in good form and will be ready for what’s expected to be a very busy schedule when La Liga decide to host games again, which seems set to happen on June 12th —no official confirmation about that date yet—.
Still, Los Blancos still have one month to improve their form, regain confidence and feel for the ball and these days will be crucial for the team if they want to compete for trophies during the crucial stretch of the season.
Mariano and Jovic are still recovering from their injuries and did not participate in Saturday’s fitness session, as the club announced on their official training report published on Realmadrid.com.
