It’s been a week since Real Madrid made their return to training and some of the players have already shared their thoughts about it. Eden Hazard’s turn came today. The Belgian star has recovered from the foot fracture he picked up against Levante and seems ready to play again.
“I feel very good to be back on the pitch working with my teammates. Now we have to wait for the matches to come, but I’ m very happy. After two months away I need more physical work and more ball work. I just want to be ready for the next game,” said Hazard.
Now that Los Blancos got the first week of training out of the way, Hazard believes that the quality and intensity of the sessions can improve and take Los Blancos to where they need to be physically.
“Now the training is better, we can train the way we like to. The first week was a bit strange, but now we can train again in groups and also attacking the goal. We just want to be all together and try to work as a group,” he concluded.
Both Hazard and Asensio will be ready to play when La Liga restarts the 2019-2020, although it’s clear that Asensio will likely need some time to regain confidence and groove after being out of the team for the last eight months.
