Oscar Rodriguez will return from his two year loan spell with Leganes after the conclusion of the La Liga season, but Real Madrid do not intend to keep the player. According to Spanish radio outlet, Onda Cero, up to 13 different clubs across Europe are interested in signing Oscar.

Among the many clubs interested are Sevilla, Getafe, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Schalke 04, Wolverhampton, Bournemouth, and Norwich. Real Madrid would like to sell Oscar and retain an option to re-purchase, even if that means selling him for less than his true value. Onda Cero believe the club would be willing to sell for anywhere between €15 - €20 million.

Oscar Rodriguez has quietly been one of the best midfielders in La Liga scoring 7 goals and contributing with 2 assists. Kiyan and Matt have raved about his good performance on the weekly Loan Tracker, noting that his late goals will be vital for Leganes if they manage to stay up and avoid relegation. It is believed that Oscar wants to play in Europe next season inching him closer to clubs like Sevilla, Getafe, and Real Sociedad. The 21-year-old is a player to watch and if he performs with a bigger club, he could eventually return to Real Madrid.
