The father of Real Madrid’s vice president, Eduardo Fernandez de Blas, has passed away, Real Madrid announced in an official statement today.

Real Madrid C.F., its president and board of directors are deeply saddened by the passing of Eduardo Fernández García, the father of our vice-president Eduardo Fernández de Blas.
Real Madrid wishes to express its condolences, support and warm regards to his wife, María del Carmen; his children Carmen, Eduardo and Alberto; and his grandchildren, Olga, Carmen, Cristina, Alberto and Nacho; as well as his friends and loved ones. Eduardo Fernández García was Real Madrid’s 5,358th club member. On 3 November 2018, he was awarded our club’s gold pin by club president, Florentino Pérez, and honorary president, Paco Gento, after celebrating 50 years as a Real Madrid member. Eduardo Fernández García passed away today at the age of 95 after having devoted the majority of his life to his big passion, Real Madrid.
