This is probably not the most shocking thing to report. Gareth Bale is a physical freak — a unique breed that is gifted in stature, strength, and speed. From a physical standpoint, if we are separating the football side of things from his athletic gifts, he’s generally one of the most fit players in the world.
But the problem has always been his proness to injury. While being fit now is great, all it takes is for a slight tweak for him to relapse.
Still, the break from football certainly allowed his body to heal and rest from physical contact and crunching challenges. Matches put stress on footballers’ bodies.
Ed Aguirre of El Chiringuito reported this week that: “Since the team has returned to training, physical tests have shown that Gareth Bale is the most fit player and is currently the fastest in the team. Also, Sergio Ramos is currently in the best condition he has been in in the past six years.”

Hopefully this quarantine has allowed Bale the time off needed to return to his expected level on the field.
