According to Marca, former Real Madrid fullback Álvaro Arbeloa is set to take on a coaching role with one of the youth teams at the club. He is reportedly studying for his Spanish coaching license and should be completing the first phase within the next several weeks.
There are 13 youth teams for Arbeloa to coach at if he does indeed join. Marca believe he only has 11 available options, though, as Raúl is set to return as Castilla coach and Dani Poyatos as the U19 coach.
Arbeloa has been serving as a club ambassador since December 2017. He is a true Madridista through and through, coming up from the academy himself and spending about seven seasons (about 238 appearances) total with the first team and winning two Champions League trophies.
