Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola will have to find a new club next summer and Sevilla seem to be very interested in him, according to a report from Estadio Deportivo. Odriozola will return to Madrid once his loan deal with Bayern Munich expires but Los Blancos will not keep him around as they need to make room for Achraf Hakimi.

Similarly to what happened in the summer of 2019 with Sergio Reguilon, Sevilla will try to sign Odriozola away from Real Madrid. Furthermore, Sevilla want to extend Reguilon’s loan deal, so they will try to include Odriozola in the talks with Real Madrid.

The Andalusian club need to find a replacement for Jesus Navas and Odriozola is a good candidate for them, even if he has struggled during the last few seasons. He’s still 24 years old and desperately needs to find relevant minutes so that he can show whether he’s ready to play for Real Madrid or not. If Sevilla are willing to give him that, Madrid should accept their offer.
