Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez talked to the team’s TV channel right after La Liga confirmed that Los Blancos will return to action on Sunday, June 14th with a home match against Eibar. Vazquez knows the importance of every single point now that there are only 11 games left to decide the champion.

“We’ve got 11 finals ahead of us, that’s how we’re taking these games. I hope we can get 11 wins to get La Liga,” said Vazquez.

Real Madrid have picked up the pace in training, given that the players will need to be ready in less than two weeks. Los Blancos will have a busy schedule ahead of them and will need to be in good form if they want to have a chance to win the title.

“We’re doing everything we have to do, which is training together so that we can be at our very best when La Liga returns. The physical training is very important but the mental side of it will also be crucial. I think we will get there in good form,” concluded Vazquez.

Coach Zinedine Zidane will have to use most of his roster in order to keep every player fresh and ready for every game.
