Spanish publication MARCA report that Benjamin Idrac, a journalist who reports almost exclusively on Stade Rennais FC for Ouest-France and an apparent close family friend to the Camavinga family, has provided clarity surrounding the young player’s future.
“Camavinga’s future is at Real Madrid. It is not with PSG, or any other club. He is very clear with what he wants to do. The only question is whether it will be this summer or next. It is both the boy’s desire and his parents to see him at Madrid,” he revealed.
There is little doubt in Idrac’s mind, Camavinga will do well at Real Madrid. He’s corroborated many other reports which tout the 17-year-old as being mature beyond his years. “He is not going to have any problem adapting. He is humble, simple, and always smiling. There is nothing to see like there is with other French players such as Anelka or Nasri. He has a different upbringing and education, a different maturity level, and he will integrate into a top dressing room like Madrid’s or the French National Team with ease,” Idrac concluded.
