Eibar winger and former Real Madrid player Pedro Leon has talked to the press about Sunday’s match against Madrid —Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, 19:30 CEST—. The attacker believes that Eibar could take advantage of the fact that it will be the first game in three months although he acknowledged that it will be hard for them.

“The pitch will be just fine, I hope we can do a good job there. We know Real Madrid are a tough team but we hope we can at least scare them. The first games after a long period without playing are never easy and we hope it can be like that for them,” said Pedro Leon.

The winger was asked once more about the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano and also about how the decision to change stadiums for the rest of the 2019-2020 season could impact Madrid’s performances.

“Both pitches have the same size, I’ve never played a official game behind closed doors and I don’t know how it will be like. We know that facing Real Madrid at the Di Stefano will be just as hard as playing at the Bernabeu,” added Pedro Leon.

There are 11 games left in Real Madrid’s schedule and Los Blancos will have to take care f business in each and every one of them, starting with Eibar this upcoming Sunday, if they want to win the title.
