Real Madrid have published their squad list for Thursday’s home match against Valencia —22:00 CEST—.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo, Mendy and Javi Hernández.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, James and Isco.
Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Bale, Asensio, Brahim, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
Carvajal missed the first training sessions this week but has recovered in time to face Valencia.
This match is set to be crucial for Madrid’s title run, given that Valencia are a quality team who tend to play decent counterattacking football. Los Blancos completed a solid performance against Eibar but the second half was a bit dull. Zidane’s men will need to stay focused and composed for the whole 90 minutes if they want the three points against Valencia.
Remember that Casemiro is one yellow card away from suspension, so Zidane could be tempted to make some rotations in order to keep him ready to face Real Sociedad away from the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano.
