Real Madrid’s home match against Mallorca should be a manageable one but it also has the potential to be a banana peel standing on Madrid’s road to the 2019-2020 La Liga title. Mallorca beat Los Blancos when these two teams met in October, and while Real Madrid have improved a lot since that game, Mallorca are now fighting to avoid relegation and have as much as Madrid to play for.

Coach Zinedine Zidane will surely be tempted to make rotations in this one. Some of his players must feel tired after playing three games in just two weeks and Mallorca gives Madrid the right opportunity to give them some rest.

Ramos was forced to leave the match against Real Sociedad and could possibly stay on the bench tonight, while Casemiro is suspended after seeing his fifth yellow card last Sunday. Marco Asensio could also get a chance to play extended minutes for the first time since he recovered from his ACL injury.
