Last night Edu Aguirre announced on El Chiringuito that Achraf Hakimi has made the decision to leave Real Madrid this summer. The Moroccan does not want to be a substitute and may feel that the challenge of dislodging Dani Carvajal is a step too far. Aguirre mentioned Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Manchester City as three interested parties.

Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, of Sky Sports Italia, has now released a statement alleging that Achraf is close to finalizing a €40 million transfer to Inter Milan. Antonio Conte feels the wing back would be esstential to his system and would help Inter secure another Seria A title challenge.

It is not yet clear how much credence can be given to the reports from Di Marzio and El Chiringuito. Only last month, Achraf’s agent affirmed that the players ultimate dream is to succeed at Real Madrid. In the same interview, Achraf’s agent alluded to another loan move or being sold with a buy-back clause. This could be Achraf and his representative putting more pressure on the club to secure his future and improve his contract.
