Takefusa Kubo has proved himself with a year abroad at Mallorca. The 19-year-old has become one of the most important attacking pieces to Vicente Moreno’s side. All reports from the offices in Madrid suggest that the club are very happy with Kubo’s progress. He has surpassed all expectations and has quickly adapted to European football.
The latest report from Spanish publication AS, revealed that the club have received a number of proposals requesting a loan move for the young Japanese player next season. Real Madrid would like to see the player take the next step and perform for a club that competes in Europe. Of all the proposals on the table, Real Madrid prefer to see Kubo at Real Sociedad next season.
The arrival of Kubo in San Sebatian would not change the plans for Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian will still be a part of the Real Sociedad’s squad next season. The club are happy with Real Sociedad’s brand of football, their ability to integrate young players, and the fact they have kept their word in regards to minutes unlike other clubs (I.E. Real Valladolid and Wolves).
The ultimate decision falls with Kubo himself. The club will allow the player to select his next destination after reviewing all of the proposals together. AC Milan is another club that is said to be heavily interested, but Kubo prefers to remain in Spain and adapt to Spanish football with the ultimate goal of succeeding at Real Madrid.
