According to MARCA, Real Sociedad Femenino forward Nahikari García could be set to join Real Madrid Femenino after June 30.

The report says that La Real expect a transfer to happen. Real Madrid are expected to be the destination for her, where she will reportedly keep her number 7 shirt in honor of Raúl. She came close to moving to Atlético Madrid last year but stayed at Sociedad.

If this report is true, this would be a big move from Real Madrid Femenino. Nahikari was a big part of Sociedad winning the 2019 Copa de la Reina after she scored the winning goal. She scored 16 goals in 29 appearances during the entire 2018-19 season.

Nahikari has played for La Real since 2014 and she’s still only 23 years old. She represents the Spanish National Team, having also captained the U19 squad. She broke Sociedad’s club goal record in 2016, which saw her also nominated for ‘Forward of the Season’.

CD Tacón is set to change their name to Real Madrid Feminino on July 1 and this would be a good, consistent goalscorer signing to go along with it.
