Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz talked to the team’s TV channel and shared his thoughts about the return of La Liga next weekend. There are 11 games left in Madrid’s schedule and Brahim explained the mindset of the team going forward.

“The fans mean everything to us and we’ll miss them. We’ve got what are like 11 cup finals ahead of us and we’ll try to adapt to playing behind closed doors as best we can. Zidane has asked us to keep on working as we are, that we enjoy ourselves and to keep progressing. We’re raring for LaLiga to resume to go and win it,” said the young attacker.

Los Blancos have been training at Valdebebas for the last three weeks and they’ve picked up the pace in order to be ready to play a week from now.

“The adaptation period has been progressing. Training with your teammates isn’t the same as training at home. I missed having a ball at my feet and we’re adapting really well to playing football in a group and working with the ball,” he explained.

While Brahim hasn’t been a relevant player during the first half of the season, the busy schedule ahead and the five substitutions rule could give him a chance to feature and make an impact. However, the attacker could be forced to accept a loan deal in the next transfer window.
