Real Madrid host Alaves trying to keep their four-point lead in La Liga table. Alaves have been mediocre ever since the return of the competition but at the same time Madrid will be missing key defenders like Sergio Ramos, Carvajal and Marcelo, which means that their defensive line could have some problems.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Lucas Vazquez, Varane, Militao, Mendy, Casemiro, Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Hazard, Benzema.
Alaves predicted XI: Jimenez, Navarro, Magallan, Laguardia, Marin, Vidal, Camarasa, Pina, Rioja, Perez, Joselu.
Coach Zinedine Zidane could decide to deploy a 4-4-2 formation to have more protection defensively. Valverde in particular could be very useful helping Vazquez, who isn’t a pure right-back and could struggle a bit defensively.
Hazard is back with the team and appears ready to start. Considering he’s the perfect partner for Benzema in a two-man offense, it’s likely that the Belgian star makes the starting lineup against Alaves tonight.
