Real Madrid host Villarreal in what will be their first chance to win the 2019-2020 Liga title. Los Blancos will be crowned champions if they beat Villarreal tonight or if they draw the game and Barcelona drop points against Osasuna.

Madrid have won 9 straight games since the return of the competition and have been very reliable. However, Villarreal have also been a very good team and are fighting for a spot in the next edition of the UEFA Europa League, so they won’t be an easy team to beat even at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Real have a healthy squad with the exception of Marcelo, who isn’t available. James didn’t make the squad list either, but the other players in the squad are ready to play. Eden Hazard should be fresh and ready, although Zidane has been cautious with the Belgian star ever since he felt some pain recently so that he can be at 100% for the match against Manchester City.

All in all, Real Madrid only need a win to raise the trophy. Three more points.
