Real Madrid published their squad list for Sunday’s away match against Leganes, the last game of the 2019-2020 La Liga season.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Ramos, Varane, Nacho and Mendy.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde and Isco.
Forwards: Benzema, Lucas Vázquez, Jović, Asensio, Brahim, Mariano, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
Coach Zinedine Zidane didn’t included neither James nor Bale in this list, while Marcelo will also miss the game with the injury he picked up two weeks ago.
It’s clear that Los Blancos have nothing to play for in this game after securing the title last Thursday, so Zidane could very well decide to give his starters some rest after what has been a very tough stretch of 10 games in a single month.
Players like Asensio, Brahim or Vinicius could get minutes to improve their form ahead of the crucial return leg against Manchester City, which will be played in early August.
