For the second consecutive season, Brand Finance, an independent branded business valuation consultancy based in London, has valued Real Madrid as the most prized brand in world football. This was based on the annual report from Brand Finance Football 2020, which saw Real Madrid top a list which included big clubs like FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and 45 other major European clubs.
From RealMadrid.com:
In its analysis, Brand Finance points out that “Real Madrid continues to be the strongest brand in world football and the results indicate that the future will be better, having won the league this year”. On the other hand, the consultancy firm highlights that the club “has expanded its commercial offer by launching an innovative brand, Real Madrid Next, whose objective is to work with technology-oriented start-up companies. Real Madrid is also making good use of social networks to increase the participation of its fans, with the creation of the pay-per-use channel Madridista Nation”.
