Both MARCA and AS have confirmed that Vinicius JR’s latest Coronavirus test results came back as negative. The mercurial Brazilian winger will be available for Friday night’s clash vs Alaves at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium. With Eden Hazard an injury doubt, it is expected that Vinicius will play some important minutes, especially given his recent good run of form.

Earlier today in Zidane’s pre-match press conference, the French coach revealed that Vinicius had a test that had gone badly: “It ’s not negative or positive. Sometimes there are errors. When that happens, both we and LaLiga decide that the player can’t train. We’ll see how it goes. He’ll have the results of the retaken test later this afternoon and I hope he’ll be with us tomorrow.”

Since returning from the break, Vinicius JR has contributed with one goal and one assist, but more importantly his dynamic movement off the ball, his unpredictability in 1 v 1 duels, and his unique skill-set have seen him heavily involved in the victories over Real Mallorca and Real Sociedad.
