Napoli are interested in the signing of Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, according to a report from Radio MARCA. Madrid are looking to sell some of their players and while Vazquez wasn’t on the transfer block initially, it now seems that he could be leaving the club if the right offer comes Madrid’s way.

Vazquez’s role in the team has not been very relevant this season, with other players like Rodrygo or Vinicius ahead of him in the depth chart. It could be even more drastic next season considering that Marco Asensio will be expected to be the starter on the right wing, and even Martin Odegaard could get minutes there.

All things considered, it would make sense to sell Vazquez if the winger agrees to leave the club. He’s been a serviceable player for the last few seasons, but he should be behind so many players now that Real Madrid and Vazquez should probably part ways.
