Real Madrid prospect Reinier Jesus will play the next two seasons for Borussia Dortmund after the two clubs reached an agreement which will be announced in the next few days, according to a report from Globoesporte.

Reinier wouldn’t have relevant minutes for Madrid next season and that’s the reason why Los Blancos tried to find him a loan deal. Borussia Dortmund are a quality club and it will be interesting to see if Reinier is ready enough to make an impact in such a good team this early.

“We want to bring him in from Real Madrid but the negotiations aren’t over. He’s a young player who can play as a striker and also in the midfield, but he can also be a false nine,” said Dortmund’s coach Lucien Favre when asked about Reinier yesterday.

Reinier is still 18 years old and will be a very young player even when his two-year loan deal expires, so Real Madrid will be looking forward to seeing if he gets the minutes he needs to keep developing so that he can be ready to be a contributor in two years time.
