Real Madrid have officially confirmed on their website that their promising attacker Reinier Jesus will leave the club and join Borussia Dortmund on a two-year loan deal.

Real Madrid C. F. and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement over the loan of Reinier Jesus for the next two seasons in a deal that runs up until 30 June 2022.

Reinier received plenty of interest from other clubs but none of them were as good as Borussia Dortmund, where he will be able to play Champions League football for the next two seasons.

While Reinier is still young and could spend some time on the bench early next season, Dortmund tend to trust young players and this shouldn’t be different, given that the Brazilian attacker seems to have the talent and potential needed to make an impact. Even more importantly, his physicality will match perfectly with Dortmund’s style of play, so Reinier seems to be a good fit for the German side.
