On August 22 2001, Zinedine Zidane made his Santiago Bernabeu debut against Real Zaragoza, where Los Blancos took the field for the second leg of the Spanish Supercup.
Real Madrid won 3 - 0, behind three goals from Raul, and lifted the trophy.
Zidane had actually made his official Real Madrid debut in the first leg of this tie which finished 1 - 1. Euan McTear wrote about that game just a few months ago.

The return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu happened three days later and the team treated the home fans to a 3-0 win to get their hands on the trophy. The key man in that game was Raúl, who netted a hat-trick in the closing stages.
