On August 23 1997, Real Madrid took the field against Barcelona for the second leg of the Spanish Supercup at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid, coached by John Toshak at the time, had their work cut out for them after losing the first leg 2 - 1 at the Camp Nou.

But the second leg was a vastly different story, as Toshak’s man blitzed Barca 4 - 1. Raul, who scored a goal in the first leg, scored two in the second.
