Real Madrid scored several important headed goals during the 2019-20 season. Despite the line-up progressively growing smaller and less aerially dominant over recent years with the loss of Pepe, Ronaldo and the declined prominence of players such as Gareth Bale - the team has still been managing to be an offensive threat in the air with nine headers in La Liga and five in the Champions League.

In La Liga, Ramos was unsurprisingly the main man when it came to headed goals nodding in three while Benzema — who has made a jump in this area since becoming the primary attacking option — closely followed with two. Casemiro, Nacho, Varane and Jovic rounded off the tally with a goal each.

In the Champions League, Benzema led the way with two headers including the beautifully worked goal against Manchester City — which was also the last one Real Madrid scored in 2019-20. Casemiro, Rodrygo, and Ramos each followed with one apiece.
