After AC Milan reportedly joined the chase for Real Madrid midfielder Oscar Rodriguez, now Sevilla are interested in the signing of the young player, according to a report from MARCA.
Real Madrid want to earn €20 million for Oscar’s transfer but could end up accepting a lower offer if they keep some percentage of his rights, per that same report. Oscar performed brilliantly for Leganes last season, so a €20 million offer shouldn’t be ruled out considering his age.
Oscar would make a lot of sense for a club like Sevilla, who need to replace Banega’s presence in the midfield. While Oscar is a different player, he also scored nine goals in 30 appearances for Leganes in La Liga, a stat which makes him a very interesting midfielder for many clubs. In fact, Real Madrid would be wise to keep some kind of option to bring Oscar back in the future just in case he reaches stardom for Sevilla.
It definitely seems that Los Blancos will receive many offers for the midfielder, so selling him shouldn’t be problematic and Madrid should be capable of finding him a new club fairly soon.
