OFFICIAL: Oscar Rodriguez sold to Sevilla

The midfielder will join Lopetegui’s side and Real Madrid will receive €15 million plus 25% of the players rights

Real Madrid and Sevilla have agreed to the transfer of attacking midfielder, Oscar Rodriguez, with the player signing a 5-year contract with the Andalusian side.

Real Madrid is expected to receive around €15 million for the player while retaining 25% of his rights. If a future offer comes in for Oscar, Madrid officials will he made aware and will have the first right of refusal over the player. Oscar Rodriguez will play under Julen Lopetegui who he briefly coincided with while at Real Madrid during preseason in the 2018-2019 season.

Real Madrid also communicated to Sevilla their interest in French center back Jules Koundé. Similar to Oscar, if an offer comes in for the defender, Real Madrid will he made aware and will have the opportunity to match any competitive proposal.
