There is not a whole lot to report from today’s training session. One of the main things we were hoping to find out was the status of Eden Hazard’s health, as Arancha Rodriguez stated yesterday on Twitter that Hazard was feeling slight discomfort in his ankle. Although we don’t have any real updates, for what it’s worth, Hazard trained with the team normally today, but his ankle is not at 100%.
Hazard trained normally today. If there is a niggle, he might just play through it on Friday. I don't think it'll be enough to keep him out, but who knows what happens in the next 48 hours.— Kiyan Sobhani (@KiyanSo) August 5, 2020
In today’s session, Zidane had everyone available apart from Mariano, who is obviously away from the team recovering from COVID-19. The training consisted of passing and ball control, and concluded with a game of football tennis.
Casemiro talked to Esporte Interativo.
