Real Madrid are training almost daily now, at varying intensities but mostly leaning towards the vigorous kind. That will change when the season starts, but given the nature of lack of preseason friendlies, training sessions have to make up for it. Today’s session, already the fifth of the week, focused on injury prevention, elasticity and strengthening exercises.
Once those physical drills concluded, Zinedine Zidane moved the team into pressing exercises and ball work before the traditional scrimmages spread across reduced-size pitches.
Player updates: Marco Asensio, Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard, Lucas Vazquez, and Sergio Reguilon worked out indoors; while Isco trained outside on his own. The goalkeepers trained separately.
