Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez has received an offer to join a Qatari team this transfer window, according to a report from MARCA. Madrid will give Vazquez the right to make the final decision about his future —per that same report— given that his current deal expires next summer.
Vazquez was rumored to be a target for both Napoli and Tottenham this transfer window as well, although that interest didn’t come to fruition. Knowing that his role in the current team is expected to be almost irrelevant, Vazquez would be considering his departure to the Qatar league, where he would also sign a big contract. The Spanish attacker is expected to make a decision soon.
Vazquez will start La Liga behind Rodrygo, Asensio, Odegaard, Vinicius and Isco in the rotation, while Odriozola’s presence in the squad will also decrease his chances of playing as Carvajal’s replacement on the right side of the defensive line. To summarize, Vazquez will most likely miss many squad lists this upcoming season, so parting ways this summer makes sense for both Madrd and the winger.
How does Griezmann feel?
